Everywhere is wet and muddy in the north west of England. Here’s today’s painting which is inspired by the watery weather. It’s not finished yet but the grey trees provide a wonderful counter to the bright reds from the leaves of the  beech trees. A good start to this painting and I’ll continue over the new year holidays.
